Dr. Anna Piterow

Dr. Anna Piterow’s story begins on the east coast, where she was born in Brooklyn New York then later moved to New Jersey at a young age. Every summer growing up she would visit her family in Poland where her love for animals blossomed. Her grandparents lived in a rural town where she got to spend time with all sorts of critters but she was always most fond of small companion animals.

After she graduated high school in Old Bridge New Jersey she moved to Poland to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences where she graduated with her doctorate in 2021. Since then, she has gained valuable experience in small animal clinics, refining her surgical skills as well as spending some time at the Wroclaw Zoo tending to more exotic animals.

In 2022 she returned to the United States to obtain her certification at Oklahoma State University. From there she decided to pursue her lifelong dream of living near the mountains, bringing her to Colorado!

Dr. Anna Piterow’s passion for veterinary medicine has encouraged her to expand her knowledge of small animal medicine and surgery as well as having a special interest in ophthalmology and orthopedics.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading and hanging out with her pup Felix, who came with her from Poland. Together they go hiking in the mountains and enjoy the sunshine every chance they get.
